WHO WE ARE
Founded in 1978 by Sid Holding in Cheshire, S G Holding & Partners quickly earned a strong reputation in financial services. Sid’s daughter, Karen, joined in 1982, qualifying as an Independent Financial Adviser in 1990, followed by her husband, Andy, in 1993. After Sid’s retirement in 2004, Karen and Andy upheld the firm’s legacy, and in 2018, they launched BlackBear Financial Group. With their sons, Guy and Max, BlackBear continues to thrive as a family-run business.
